Welcome!
Welcome to sfbaymodern.com. Are you someone for whom architecture matters? You’ve come to the right place.
I’m a fan of mid-century modern architecture - exposed post + beam, great indoor and outdoor flow, the creative use of steel and concrete, these are some of my favorite things.
Do you like REAL lofts converted from the old buildings in Emeryville and Jack London Square? I think the contrasting charm of the old building and newly renovated interior makes a harmonious and eclectic living space.
How about Eichler homes? I think they’re one of the most interesting developments in Northern Californian architecture. There are around fifty Eichler homes designed by Claude Oakland, and Quincy Jones + Frederick E. Emmons in the Oakland Hills. Are you interested in them?
Understated mid-century homes, dramatically created green dwellings in the Berkeley Hills, well-renovated eco-friendly bungalows in Berkeley and Oakland, charming cottages in Albany with interesting additions around the back . . . I find them all architecturally interesting. Do you feel the same?
I know there are many choices when you are looking for your new home. But if you share my passion for architecture, you know I’ll find the right home for you!
